Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to join our growing team at Apexon, a pure-play digital engineering services firm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software solutions using Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop high-quality, maintainable code
  2. Support client project teams in the development of software solutions
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions

Requirements:

  1. 2+ years of commercial software engineering experience in Java
  2. Ability to mentor junior developers
  3. Experience with service-oriented architecture development
  4. Knowledge of TDD/BDD
  5. Experience working in an Agile environment
  6. Strong communication skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships
  7. Curiosity with an ongoing desire to develop and learn
  8. Good problem-solving skills
  9. Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of DevOps tools, e.g. Jenkins, Sonar and CI/CD principles
  2. Experience with React/Angular frameworks
  3. Financial Services and/or Software Consulting experience
