We are expanding our climate scenario analysis, transition risk, and decarbonisation modelling capabilities. The consulting team will provide expert advice to clients on developing comprehensive sustainability strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth and net zero transformation.

Role Overview

This role involves leading our sustainability consultancy team, defining and developing product offerings, managing account teams, converting new business leads, supporting junior team members, and shaping the company's strategy and structure. You will collaborate with the Head of Modelling to understand how to integrate ESG modelling outputs into consulting services.

  • Contribute strategic direction and insight to Sillion's offering, especially around the consulting proposition.
  • Lead client relationships, establishing trusted advisor status with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop compelling proposals with account leads, generate new leads, and contribute to business development and revenue growth.
  • Provide senior oversight of multiple projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes to clients on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the in-house modelling team to analyse sustainability data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advocate for business stakeholders in internal prioritisation discussions regarding the proprietary modelling tool.
  • Perform line management duties, including performance reviews, goal setting, and mentorship guidance.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership through position papers, webinars, and forums. Develop a personal brand while promoting Sillion's brand.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to innovate and enhance service offerings, aligning with market trends and client needs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Required Experience

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, 5+ years in consultancy, and 3+ years in sustainability. They possess a proven track record in sustainability consulting, a deep understanding of corporate net zero strategies, and UK disclosure regulations in ESG and sustainability. Strong strategic thinking, management capabilities, sales track records, and excellent communication skills are also essential.

Location and Employment Details

This role is based in London Bridge, with a mix of home and office working. International travel may be required from time to time.
