SEN Tutor Role

Remedy Education is seeking an experienced SEN tutor to provide face-to-face support to children with Special Education Needs in Orpington and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will work with children with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH, or PMLD, providing tailored lessons and resources to raise their confidence. Key responsibilities include managing challenging behavior, engaging in outdoor activities, and working with children on a 1-2-1 basis. A valid enhanced child workforce DBS and experience working with SEND students are essential. As a self-employed tutor, you will work with our dedicated team to receive suitable referrals for work. This could involve working with students of any year group, either after school or during the daytime, for students who are currently being home-schooled.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with children with Special Education Needs and providing face-to-face support
Planning lessons and resources around the student's needs
Managing children with challenging behavior
Engaging in outdoor activities with the student

Requirements:

Experience working with SEND students
Valid enhanced child workforce DBS

Working Arrangements:

Self-employed tutor
Work with our dedicated team to receive suitable referrals for work
Potential to work with students of any year group, either after school or during the daytime
