The Role

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Head of Product to lead our product strategy and development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the aviation industry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for innovation and customer-centricity.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with ELMS Aviation's overall mission and goals.
  2. Identify market opportunities and define product roadmaps to address customer needs and business growth.
  3. Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of products.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and user-centric solutions.
  5. Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.
  6. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities.
  7. Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve products and ensure they meet customer expectations.
  8. Foster strong relationships with customers and partners to understand their needs and drive customer-centric product development.
  9. Lead our Customer Success program to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and penetration.
  10. Lead and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  11. Set clear goals and performance metrics for the product team and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  12. Promote a data-driven approach to decision-making and product development.
  13. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  14. Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance product development processes and capabilities.
  15. Develop and manage product budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  16. Collaborate with the executive team to define and achieve business goals and revenue targets.
  17. Support the business' compliance requirements to maintain and develop processes in support of our certification and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, preferably within the aviation industry or a related field.
  3. Demonstrated success in leading product strategy, development, and launch of innovative products.
  4. Strong understanding of aviation industry regulations, trends, and customer needs.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
  9. Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset.
  10. Experience of implementing and/or working within an ISO27001 ISMS.
