We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our EMEA Cash Services team as a Senior Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring client accounts for issues associated with cash, settlements, ad-hoc processing, reporting, and pre/post cycle reviews.
Key Responsibilities- Review assigned accounts for issues associated with cash (overdrafts, reconciliation), positions (trades, other), and ensure timely resolution.
- Process month-end close functions, validate and sign-off on balances, and review for non-base balances.
- Identify data or accounts trends for discussion in group meetings and provide analytical support in new client on-boarding lifecycle.
- Interact with all GD teams (Accounting, Corporate Actions, Trading, Performance) and remain familiar with back-up procedures when system applications and/or transmission problems arise.
- Build cooperative and professional internal/external relationships, achieving group and client goals, and utilize all available resources throughout STT.
- Take ownership of issues to resolution, engage teams as needed to gain consensus, and provide client with daily summary and monthly MIS reports.
- Participate in local/global projects and initiatives, coordinate with internal departments to meet client needs, and represent State Street in front of clients.
- Communicate effectively on issues/problems to the Client and to STT management, ensuring a proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolution.
- 3+ years of Investment Management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting platforms.
- Motivated and team-oriented individual who possesses the ability to work in an energizing environment while handling multiple tasks.
- Capable of adapting and leading through change.
- Charles River (CRD) experience highly desirable but not required.
