About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Professional to join our team at Active Prospects in Brighton, East Sussex. The ideal candidate will have a passion for empowering individuals with enduring mental health to lead a gloriously ordinary life full of opportunity and fun. As a member of our complex care service, you will be working with a small group of individuals who require a wide range of support, including emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms, and being able to express their true selves.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing person-centred care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, their families, and our multidisciplinary team
  • Supporting individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations through empowerment, active support, and positive risk-taking
  • Participating in the development, implementation, and review of person-centred care plans
  • Working collaboratively with our psychology team to understand and address complex behaviors that challenge
