About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team at Alexander Ash Consulting. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for implementing quantitative research frameworks in Python, including integrating models, algorithms, analytics, and research tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with quantitative analysts and researchers to develop and implement research frameworks
  • Design and implement data analysis pipelines using Python libraries such as Matplotlib, Plotly, Pandas, and NumPy
  • Work closely with buy-side teams to integrate research tools and models into their workflows
  • Develop a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and practices, including CI/CD
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in financial markets and products, particularly equities and derivatives
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of commercial or post-graduation experience, preferably in financial markets
  • Strong Python skills, including data analysis libraries and visualization tools
  • Buy-side background preferred, with experience in portfolio construction and related areas
  • Degree or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
What We Offer

This is a £450-£500/day PAYE role, initially a contract but may convert to permanent in the medium term. Based in London.
