Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our EG Group team at our Starbucks store in Norwich. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the store in the absence of the Manager, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a team of baristas and sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control store inventory, including stock levels and ordering.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of store cleanliness and presentation.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and services, including beverages, food, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with the Management team to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and achieve goals.
  • Manage store finances, including cash handling and reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • 18 years or older.
