Care Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Care Specialist to join our team in the Adult Social Care department of The Council of the Isles of Scilly. As a Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care services to adults on the islands.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of preventative services, multi-agency working, and personalized care approaches. You will work closely with our partner agencies to deliver integrated health and social care services that meet the unique needs of our island community.
With a salary of £39,513 - £48,710 per annum, this position offers a competitive remuneration package. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for standby hours and other benefits.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered outcomes. The role requires a degree in Social Work or a related field, and relevant post-qualification experience in adult social care. You will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and be willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
