About the Role

Kingspan Water & Energy seeks an experienced SHEQ Manager to champion our safety and compliance strategies. This role is pivotal in embedding a culture of safety across all levels of operations, ensuring our properties meet and exceed regulatory and company-specific standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain SHEQ management systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Update and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, 45001, 37301 standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, Occupational Health and Safety surveys and audits for continual improvement.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective action is taken and documentation updated.
  • Develop and execute training programs on safety and compliance for staff at all levels.
  • Provide data and information for monthly Health and Safety Divisional reports.
  • Perform regular checks on First Aid kits, Eye Wash stations, Spill Kits, Defibrillator, and update registers accordingly.
  • Chair monthly Health and Safety meetings and provide documented minutes to the Technical Director.
  • Monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality and investigate and report on scrappage/ implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SHEQ management within the Manufacturing sector.
  • General NEBOSH certificate.
  • Experience of ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001.
  • Fire Safety.
  • Risk Assessment experience.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills to drive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Credentials in ISO and other SHEQ-related audits are preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
  • Excellent IT Skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
