The school caters to students aged 5-19 with special educational needs, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on their lives.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support to students with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH. You will also support students with personal care needs, mobility, self-care, and other activities to promote independence. You will work as part of a team to support class sizes of no more than 9 pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to students with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH
- Support students with personal care needs, including toileting and feeding
- Assist students with mobility, self-care, and other activities to promote independence
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to support class sizes of no more than 9 pupils
Requirements
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in the well-being of students
