About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Operations Specialist to join our team at Whistl. As a key member of our distribution operation team, you will be responsible for collecting parcels from our customers and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Parcel Collection
    • Collect parcels from customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure all parcels are accurately scanned and documented.
    • Communicate with customers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide outstanding customer service to all customers.
    • Respond to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve customer issues.
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained at all times.
    • Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Report any vehicle defects or issues to the transport manager.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Qualifications
    • Valid driving license.
    • Ability to pass a basic DBS check.
