Support Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and fulfill their potential.
About the Role
This is a part-time Support Worker position, working Fridays from 8am-5pm. You will be supporting a gentleman with an acquired brain injury in his own home and out in the community. The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving license, as you will be required to drive the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the client with daily living tasks, including prompting and motivating them with food, drink, and medication.
- Accompany the client on outings and appointments in the community.
- Assist the client with mobility and activities, such as going to the gym and taking a stroll around Newquay.
Requirements
- Full UK driving license.
- Encouraging and respectful nature.
- Patient and understanding of acquired brain injury.
- Kind and caring nature.
- Good communication skills.
