At MorePeople, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Acquisition and Leadership Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our garden centre operations, you will be responsible for driving the success of our plant offerings and leading and developing a team of plant experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and procuring high-quality plants, shrubs, and trees to meet the demands of our customers
• Collaborating with our Company Directors to set stock levels and manage budgets, ensuring maximum profitability
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible terms
• Providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers
• Leading and developing a team of plant experts, including training, discipline, and fostering a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience in plant buying and management within the horticultural industry
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing the best supplier terms
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with an eye for detail to ensure product quality and accuracy
• A deep understanding of current trends and consumer behaviour within the gardening sector
