Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Room Maintenance: Respond efficiently to guest room repair requests, ensuring that all rooms are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
  • Statutory Checks and PMC: Conduct regular checks and perform Preventive Maintenance Contracts (PMC) in plant rooms, bedrooms, and public areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • General Repairs: Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks, including electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, and plumbing, as well as decorative works such as painting and tiling.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting: Ensure that all works are completed on schedule and within department budget, while maintaining high standards and adhering to safety regulations.
  • Engineering Building Checks: Conduct routine checks on building systems, focusing on defective or deficient life safety features.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to Fire Safety Regulations, Health & Safety policy, and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and guests.
  • Maintenance Tasks: Perform preventive and reactive maintenance tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and record them accurately.
  • Chemical Handling: Ensure safe storage and use of chemicals, following COSHH procedures within the maintenance department.
