Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Graduate Engineering Manager to join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at CV-Library. As a Graduate Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the team in implementing and maintaining safety and statutory compliance programs, as well as implementing network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager in implementing, recording, and auditing safety and statutory compliance programs to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  2. Implement and carry out network standards to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
  3. Work with the team and the wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
  4. Learn the key aspects of all site-based RME roles to gain a comprehensive understanding of the team's responsibilities.
  5. Manage projects or tasks as directed by the site manager, utilizing your problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a solid connection to the team and daily work, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  7. Willingness to travel as required to other Amazon locations to support training and development, expanding your professional network and expertise.
  8. Work alongside Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technicians to understand day-to-day challenges and develop effective solutions.
  9. Lead small to medium-sized teams of multi-skilled Technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
Requirements
  1. Recently graduated or working towards an Engineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Industrial, Mechatronics, or Chemical disciplines.
  2. Maximum 2 years' work experience within a relevant industry, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  3. Ability to communicate (written and verbal) in English at CEFR Level B2 or higher, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, Computer-aided Design), with proficiency in software applications and tools.
  5. Knowledge of PLC-based control systems, with a strong understanding of automation and control systems.
  6. Knowledge of Project Management frameworks, with experience in managing projects and tasks.
