About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Philanthropy to join our team at Ashby Jenkins Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our major appeal strategy, working closely with our Head of Philanthropy and Head of Appeal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major appeal strategy to drive fundraising growth
  • Manage relationships with medium to large-sized trusts and major donors, securing significant funding for our organization
  • Collaborate with the Philanthropy Manager to develop and execute a robust relationship management plan
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the Head of Philanthropy and Head of Appeal on fundraising initiatives
  • Manage income and expenditure budgets, ensuring effective financial stewardship
Requirements
  • Proven experience in philanthropy fundraising, with a track record of success in securing major gifts
  • Strong relationships with medium to large-sized trusts and major donors, with a deep understanding of their needs and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex budgets and financial data
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £34,000 - £37,000
