Empowering Individuals with Learning Disabilities

Lifeworks is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enabler to join our vibrant community activities team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities or complex needs to reach their full potential through engaging and enriching experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities or complex needs in a small, friendly team environment
  • Provide safe, high-quality, and person-centred care, helping individuals achieve their goals and aspirations in a fun and inclusive environment
  • Lead a variety of social activities, such as arts, sports, and holiday programs, chosen by the participants themselves
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is preferred, but not required
  • A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
  • Excellent communication, patience, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to drive, as many of our programs are based in the local area
What We Offer:
  • A Real Living Wage of £12.00 per hour
  • 28 days of paid holiday (pro-rated for part-time staff)
