Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Workshop Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a fleet of heavy plant machinery, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and fit for hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and service a fleet of heavy plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, rollers, excavators, and other equipment up to 20 tons.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure all machinery is in good working condition.
  • Work independently to manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a workshop plant fitter, plant engineer, forklift engineer, agricultural engineer, HGV mechanic, mechanical engineer, hydraulic engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, technician, vehicle mechanic, vehicle engineer, or diesel mechanic.
  • Extensive experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs.
  • Knowledge of construction plant manufacturers, including JCB, CAT, Volvo, Kubota, Hitachi, and Komatsu, is an advantage.
