The Role

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation and regulation, as well as maintaining Babcock's excellent safety and delivery reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the delivery of flying activities at RAF Woodvale, working collaboratively with Babcock and Military colleagues to ensure excellent safety and delivery reputation.
  • Responsible for the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation and regulation.
  • Ensure aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance, and other engineering-related activities and services are provided as required to meet and exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs.

This is a full-time role based onsite at RAF Woodvale, with occasional deployments to other sites or support detachments at other operating locations.

Essential Experience:

  • Supervisory experience in an aviation environment.

Qualifications:

  • EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence (or successfully passed a number of modules towards the qualification).

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
