Job Title: Hairdressing Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hairdressing Lecturer to join our team at Evolve Academy Ltd. As a Hairdressing Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to our learners, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the hairdressing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver inspirational programmes of learning, enabling learners to develop their knowledge and practical skills.
  • Deliver underpinning knowledge required as part of learning programmes.
  • Carry out regular learner reviews to maintain ESFA compliance and ensure learners complete their learning programme on or before the planned funding end date.
  • Regularly review and update data to ensure it is timely and accurate.
  • Report/support all withdrawals to Management as soon as possible to ensure support can be put in place.
  • Carry out any administrative work associated with the learning programmes, such as completing learner documentation required as part of funding compliance.
  • Maintain regular contact with learners and employers on all programs.
  • Provide support to learners in group settings.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Hairdressing Level 2 & 3.
  • A relevant assessing qualification (A1, D32/D33, TAQA).
  • A teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd).
  • English and maths to a level 2 or a willingness to work towards.
