Job Title: Class 1 HGV Drivers Wanted

H&G Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to join our team for a range of trunking and distribution opportunities.

Job Summary

We are looking for reliable and skilled HGV C+E drivers to work with our client based in Banbury. The role involves carrying out trunking duties to national and regional distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out trunking duties to national and regional distribution centres
  • Load and unload securely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards while operating the vehicle
  • Use GPS navigation systems effectively and read and interpret maps
  • Meet delivery deadlines and have strong organisational and time management skills
Requirements
  • HGV C+E Class 1
  • 1 Year's Experience
  • Valid CPC & Tacho Card
  • Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with Curtain sider experience
  • Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety
