About the Job


We are currently seeking a Class 1 HGV driver to join our client's elite team of professionals in Carlisle. As a reliable and skilled driver, you will be responsible for safely operating Class 1 vehicles and transporting goods efficiently.



Key Responsibilities



  • Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in accordance with company policies and road safety laws
  • Transport goods efficiently and ensure on-time delivery and compliance with regulations
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and documentation


Requirements



  • Valid Class 1 driver's licence (minimum 6 months experience)
  • Clean driving record with minimal infringements
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Strong knowledge of road safety and regulations
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
