Antimicrobial Stewardship Specialist

We are seeking an Antimicrobial Stewardship Specialist to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our pharmacy service, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and leadership in antimicrobial stewardship across the site.

1. Develop and implement antimicrobial stewardship strategies across the site, including reviewing antibiotic formularies and local evidence-based guidelines.
2. Maintain an active presence on the wards, serving as a point of contact between pharmacy, microbiology, and infectious disease and infection control teams.
3. Provide educational programs and resources for healthcare professionals on antimicrobial stewardship.
