Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Centre, ensuring the efficient execution of delivery schedules.
- Ensure the safe and reliable operation of the fleet, including maintenance plans and compliance with statutory and HSE requirements.
- Manage a team of drivers and administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures, including cash, stock, and cylinder reconciliation processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Full UK driving license and ability to drive in the UK.
