Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Program Director to join our team at Ultimate Activity Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Early Years program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our young campers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Delivery
    • Design and implement a fun and engaging program for our 4- and 5-year-old campers, ensuring alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
    • Prepare and deliver high-quality activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and games, tailored to the needs and abilities of our young campers.
  • Team Leadership and Support
    • Direct and support a small team of Early Years staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to deliver exceptional care and education.
    • Work closely with the Camp Manager to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between teams.
  • Child Welfare and Safety
    • Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our campers, adhering to all health and safety protocols and safeguarding procedures.
    • Monitor and report any concerns or issues to the Camp Manager and relevant authorities.
  • Communication and Administration
    • Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, providing regular updates and feedback on their child's progress.
    • Manage administrative tasks, including sign-in/out, registration, and other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Educated to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality childcare and education programs.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
    • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
    • Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 hour or 6 hour) qualification, or be willing to obtain one.
