Job Overview:

As a Collection and Delivery Driver with Royal Mail Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of parcels to households and businesses across the UK. This is a dynamic and varied role that requires a positive and proactive individual who is able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of parcels.
  • Collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular safety checks on vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy and comply with company standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

About You:

We are looking for a friendly and approachable individual who is able to work well under pressure and as part of a team. A full UK manual driving license is essential, as is the ability to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg. In an ideal world, you will have a clean driving record, but we are willing to consider applicants with up to 6 penalty points.
