We are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to provide ad hoc childcare support for our family in Leigh On Sea. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with babies and a flexible approach to childcare.

Job Description:

The role involves providing sole-charge childcare for our 9-month-old baby boy on an as-needed basis. This may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends for a few hours at a time. Our son is currently attending nursery full-time during the week, but we require additional support when mum needs to work or attend appointments.

Responsibilities will include caring for the baby's needs, taking him to activities such as the library or park, and assisting with bath and bedtime routines. Evening duties will involve being present until mum and dad return home. We require someone who is trustworthy, reliable, and able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our child.

Requirements:
  • Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check
  • Paediatric first aid
  • Excellent checkable references
  • Previous experience working with babies

We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work on an ad hoc basis. Notice will always be given in advance, and you will only work if you have availability. The role would suit a nanny who is looking to add additional hours to their current working week and at weekends. Salary: Around £18 gross per hour depending on experience.
