Job Overview
PRS, a world-renowned professional institution, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join their team in Hatfield. As a key member of the facilities management department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical and HVAC systems across various buildings on site.

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual with previous facilities maintenance experience to take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance tasks. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers to maintain a range of mechanical equipment, including pumps, fire sprinkler systems, boilers, and hot & cold-water services. Your expertise will also be utilized to supervise sub-contractors working on site.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and implement planned and reactive maintenance tasks for mechanical and HVAC systems
* Supervise sub-contractors working on site
* Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure seamless maintenance operations

Requirements
* Previous experience in facilities maintenance, preferably within a similar environment
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, and plumbing
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Self-driven and proactive approach to maintenance tasks

Working Hours
You will work on a Monday to Friday split shift basis (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm), with the potential for overtime and flexibility in your working hours. This role offers a high level of job security and the chance to work within a supportive team environment.
