About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operative Loader to join our team at Hargreaves Industrial Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading of road tipper wagons with biomass material at our quayside hopper facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading of road tipper wagons with biomass material as it is offloaded into the quayside hopper from each vessel
  • Investigating and remediating any jams or blockages to ensure continuous material movements
  • Cleaning up material spillages associated with the loading process in a timely manner
  • Understanding and adhering to safe working procedures
  • Attending meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements
  • IOSHH working safely certification (minimum standard)
  • Experience of industrial cleaning within a materials handling environment
  • Previous experience working within a biomass handling environment (desirable)
  • IPAF licence (desirable)
  • Experience with using fixed and portable vacuum systems
  • COMPEX training (desirable)
