About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Sales Manager to join our Commercial Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through effective relationship-building with key customers, specifiers, and stakeholders.
Job Description:
The primary focus of this role is to identify and capture project opportunities that align with commercial sectors' growth. This involves engaging with architects, developers, Housing Associations, and Local Authorities early in the specification process, providing expert advice on product design, technical solutions, and compliance with legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and capture project opportunities that align with commercial sectors' growth
- Engage with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and the fabricator/installer network to build long-term relationships
- Provide expert advice on product design, technical solutions, and compliance with legislation
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet specification requirements and are delivered on time
- Play a key role in supporting contract and tender negotiations
- Proactively generate leads by networking, attending industry events, and conducting market research
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the fenestration industry, preferably in a sales or technical role
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and communicate complex technical information
- A proven track record in identifying commercial projects and success in winning projects
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational/timekeeping skills and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
- Full UK Driving License
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 per annum, plus a company car, bonus, and other benefits. We offer a comprehensive package including 25 days holiday, free healthcare plan, enhanced maternity and paternity benefits, life assurance plan, and employee discounts.
