About the Role

At SER Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients in the South West region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the sales pipeline and meet company sales targets, leveraging our products and services.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the designated region to promote and create demand for our products and services.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Collaborate with internal teams to provide support and solutions to key accounts, utilizing our products and services.
  • Stay Informed about Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities and use this knowledge to position our products effectively.
  • Provide Market Feedback: Provide feedback from the market to the company for product development and improvement to enhance our offerings.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Experience: Proven experience in specification sales and project-based sales, ideally with a background in lighting solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the logistics and warehousing sector, with a focus on lighting requirements and solutions.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, leveraging knowledge of lighting requirements.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets, utilizing our product range effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Client Engagement: Engage with existing key accounts to assess their ongoing lighting requirements and provide our lighting solutions.
  • Sales Pipeline Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the sales pipeline for our lighting products and services.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities for our lighting solutions.
  • Industry Networking: Participate in industry events and trade shows to network and promote our lighting products and services.
  • Regular Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and market insights related to our lighting solutions to the management team.
