We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Eating Disorders Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in the Black Country. As a key member of our service, you will work with individuals who have eating disorders, providing expert care and support to help them recover.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs an Eating Disorders Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Observing and managing the physical and mental health risks associated with eating disorders
- Actively engaging patients in their care while working in recovery
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Participating in the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes
The Black Country All Age Eating Disorder Service is a community-based service that delivers specialist eating disorder assessment and interventions in line with NICE Guidance. We are committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals with eating disorders and their families.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a qualified nurse with experience in mental health and/or eating disorders. The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of eating disorders and their treatment
- Passion for delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with eating disorders
