Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading FMCG company in Lichfield as a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting plant machinery, including injection moulding and pressing machines. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

As a key member of the Injection Moulding Department, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the factory by ensuring all machinery is properly maintained and running efficiently. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on injection moulding and pressing machines.
  • Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Repair and replace faulty components as needed.
  • Validate new equipment to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

The starting salary for this position is £50,100 per annum, with potential earnings reaching between £55,000 and £65,000 per year through overtime, shift allowance, and bonuses. Overtime paid at 1
