Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Risk Manager to join our team at NatWest Digital X. As a key member of our digital revolution, you will play a crucial role in managing our risks and controls within agreed risk appetite.
About the Role:
- Partner with our business to manage our risks and controls within agreed risk appetite, using our risk framework to ensure team objectives are achieved.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to support them in managing their risk and control profiles.
- Develop risk awareness across our business, contributing to the prioritisation, design, and implementation of the operational risk principles.
- Manage the interface between the business, internal audit, second line of defence, and other functions, as well as the wider risk and controls teams.
- Ensure that all aspects of risk management are delivered within the policy framework and operational risk requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven understanding and practical application of risk management principles.
- Good understanding of our technology risk and controls, including retail banking products, processes, and technologies.
- Experience working in financial services, preferably within retail banking.
- Experience of digital and technology risk and control assessments.
- Experience of AWS and Cloud.
- Experience of IT General Controls and vulnerability management.
- Experience of technology platforms, applications, and services.
- An understanding of how to design IT controls and automation.
