Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Home Manager in the overall management of the home, ensuring the safeguarding of children and young people.
  • Deputise for the Registered Home Manager during absence periods, taking on full management responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the children and young people to ensure they receive the best possible care and support.
  • Maintain the management of the home, including office-based work and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Recent experience working as a Children's Home Deputy Manager or Senior Children's Residential Support Worker.
  • Minimum QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to completing QCF Level 5 Children, Young People and Families Manager qualification.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts in line with the needs of the home.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
