Job Overview
">Verto People is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer to join their team near Bristol. As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, and similar equipment at the workshop. You will work with rotating equipment such as generators, pumps, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, or similar products. The ideal candidate will have a good electromechanical engineering background in wiring, circuitry, pumps, gearboxes, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, or similar products. An estimated salary for this role is around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical equipment
  • Electrical fault finding, testing, and wiring of electromechanical products
  • Identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing
  • Complete technical documentation as work progresses
  • Perform other duties as assigned and liaise with engineering departments
