This role will involve 1 day a week, working on-site at a specified location.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Investigate programme situations where there is complexity and ambiguity.
  2. Adopt a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities.
  3. Elicit, identify, and prioritise programme needs.
  4. Model current and desired scenarios as directed.
  5. Develop, communicate, and implement the strategic and operational management of the programme.
  6. Coordinate and manage the development of architecture across the programme.
  7. Maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design and adherence to appropriate functional standards.
  8. Carry out capability improvement assignments, such as maturity or performance assessments.
  9. Take responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis, and problem resolution.
Core Skills
  1. Able to perform intermediate project reporting and scheduling.
  2. Able to undertake intermediate problem solving typically based on previous experience.
  3. Have a good knowledge of business processes and procedures.
  4. Administration and general office skills including spreadsheets and Microsoft packages.
  5. Able to lead a small non-complex project or a work package of a larger project.
  6. Able to manage the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved.
  7. Identify, assess, and manage risks to the success of the project.
  8. Apply appropriate PM methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
  9. Agree a project approach with stakeholders and prepare realistic plans (including quality, risk, and communications plans) and track activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
  10. Consolidate expertise from multiple sources, including third-party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives.
