Enerveo is a leading contracting business in the UK, offering a wide range of services including mechanical, electrical, high voltage, and electrical vehicle infrastructure installation, testing, and inspection services. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Jointer to join our team in Barnstaple.

About the Role

As an Electrical Jointer, you will be responsible for supporting the installation and removal of street lighting and highways electrical street furniture across the Devon region. Your duties will include assisting with the erection and removal of street lighting columns and signs, providing joint holes, preparing cables for jointing, and jointing of service/mains. You will also be required to drive company vehicles and operate specialist plant and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation and removal of street lighting and highways electrical street furniture
  • Provide joint holes and prepare cables for jointing
  • Joint service/mains
  • Drive company vehicles and operate specialist plant and machinery
  • Carry out risk assessments on site
  • Attend emergency call-outs as required
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Jointer with relevant authorizations and qualifications. You will need to have a full UK driving license and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Prior electrical experience, ideally in street lighting or highways electrical jointing, is essential. You will also need to have a good understanding of safety guidelines and regulations.
