Sales Director

We are partnering with a leading commercial butcher based in the Solent region to find an experienced Sales Director to lead their sales team and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the sales team, including internal sales and external Business Development Managers, to meet targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee the management of major accounts, nurturing existing relationships and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Execute the sales strategy, focusing on expanding the customer base within a 30-mile radius of the Solent.
- Develop and implement sales plans to drive new business acquisition, focusing on the hospitality sector.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Proven experience in a senior sales management role, preferably within the food supply or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
