Teaching Assistant Role in Academia

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated teaching assistant to join our team at Equals Trust. As a key member of staff, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in the classroom, developing and implementing SEN provision, and building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
About the Job: The successful candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers in lesson planning and delivery
- Working with children with a range of needs and abilities
- Developing and implementing individualized learning plans
- Fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEND
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Natural ability to be reflective and proactive in ongoing development
