Key Responsibilities
  • Client Accounting: Prepare accounts for a diverse range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, providing face-to-face and virtual support to meet their financial needs.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare year-end financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare corporate tax returns, including VAT returns, to ensure clients' financial obligations are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor trainee accountants and assistants, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
  • Business Advisory: Participate in business advisory work, providing financial expertise to help clients make informed business decisions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in practice, with a focus on delivering a first-class service to clients. You will also need excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a portfolio of clients and lead a team of accountants and assistants.
