As a key member of the project delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and quality throughout the design process. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation and implementing best practices within our dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain robust design management procedures across all project phases, from tender to construction.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance on all aspects of MEP design, ensuring seamless integration with architectural and structural elements.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and contractors to select and manage the optimal design team for each project.
- Proactively identify and address potential design challenges, proposing innovative solutions that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.
- Champion a culture of safety, sustainability, and quality within the design process, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration with site teams, ensuring alignment on design intent and facilitating effective implementation.
- A Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, coupled with 5+ years of proven experience in MEP design management within the construction industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of CDE (Common Data Environment), BIM (Building Information Modeling), and advanced planning software applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in sustainability accreditation frameworks and health & safety regulations within the construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, planning procedures, and relevant industry standards.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
