Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

You will work closely with our experienced care team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each client receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.


Key Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transfer needs, including use of hoists and equipment
  • Monitoring and reporting client progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring that each client receives comprehensive and coordinated support

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably in a community-based setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts
  • Basic knowledge of care planning and risk assessment, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills
