About the Role
This exciting opportunity presents a chance to lead the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective care as our Head of Nursing and Quality in Wales. As part of the place-based leadership team, you will provide professional leadership for all non-medical clinical staff across Wales.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of high-quality care services that meet the needs of patients and their families
- Ensure a robust governance framework is in place to optimize standards and manage risk
- Facilitate an open learning culture to support continuous quality improvement
- Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the lived experience and voice of the citizen are evident in service design
What We're Looking For
We seek an experienced Health & Social Care Leader who possesses the following qualities:
- Ability to professionally lead multi-professional alliances across teams and organizations
- Registered professional educated to degree level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in Health and Social Care
- Evidence of operational management and leadership skills, including workforce development, recruitment, retention, performance, and capability management
- Relevant qualifications required to undertake the Responsible Individual / Registered Manager role
- Extensive experience in Palliative and end-of-life care
