Housekeeping Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Heythrop Park Hotel.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all guests enjoy a high-quality stay in a perfectly kept room. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager and other Housekeeping Team Leaders to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures to ensure efficient and effective room preparation.
  • Monitor and control costs in line with budgets, ensuring that the housekeeping team operates within financial constraints.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve performance and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and a high level of customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of leading a team in a similar role, with a strong track record of achieving high standards and improving performance.
  • Management or cleaning qualification, or willingness to develop to this level (e.g. BICS, CIMS, BIFM).
  • Effective communicator with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and motivate others.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
