Job Title: Automation Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at Linkster Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients in the FMCG manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation systems using PLCs from various manufacturers, including SIEMENS, SCHNEIDER, and B&R.
  • Program PLCs using software such as Step7, WinCC, TIA portal, PL7, Unity, VijeoDesigner, and SoMachine.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
  • Develop and implement HMI systems using Proface and other industry-standard software.
  • Work with robotics, particularly Fanuc, and read schematics using SEE Electrical Expert.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SIEMENS, SCHNEIDER, and B&R automation systems.
  • Knowledge of frequency drives from DANFOSS, SEW, and SCHNEIDER.
  • Familiarity with HMI systems like Proface.
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate flexibility in working hours.
  • Clear communication skills to convey problems and solutions to colleagues.
  • Good understanding of industry regulations and standards.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience).
  • Additional compensation for overtime and Sunday work (£36 per hour for overtime and £48 per hour for Sundays).
  • Flexible working hours based on standard office hours.
