Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our team at Linear Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our development and land team.

• Provide technical support to the development and land team.
• Assist with studies and lead on the preparation of site reports for residential developments.
• Commission and manage Consultant appointments in respect of Site Investigations, Engineering Layout/Designs, site-specific foundation proposals, and retaining walls as/where required.
• Identify and Manage external consultants to ensure effective communication within agreed timescales and in line with Housing building standards.
• Assist in the tendering processes, and setting up and establishing onsite management companies.
• Responsible for managing the Adoption process.
• Provide engineering support to site teams and Internal departments.

• Previous experience as an Engineer for New Build Housing Developers.
• A relevant qualification and/or strong experience in Technical design, and/or Civil engineering.
• Good technical knowledge.
• Knowledge and application of: Highway Design Standards, Sewers for adoption, Building Regs., British Standards, AutoCAD.
