Payroll Specialist

Our client, a reputable business based in the outskirts of Cheltenham, is seeking a skilled Payroll Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and contribute to the success of their payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process payroll from client information with accuracy and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving payroll-related queries.
- Support other departments with payroll and PAYE matters, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Handle client data with confidentiality and prepare reports and documentation with precision.
- Maintain accurate and concise record systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the Payroll Solutions team, contributing to the smooth operation of payroll processes.
- Deal with ad hoc queries and manage internal relationships, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
- At least 2 years' experience in PAYE and other payroll processes, including RTI and auto enrolment.
- Knowledge of STAR/CINTRA is desirable but not essential.
- Dedication to furthering payroll skills through formal training.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong soft skills and customer service skills, with a focus on communication, accuracy, and methodical approach.
