About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school in Brent. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school environment, working closely with the science department to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students are fully engaged and supported in their learning.
  • Individual and Group Support: Provide tailored support to students, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
  • Resource Management: Help to organise and maintain equipment and resources, ensuring that all materials are prepared and available for lessons.
  • Student Progress: Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to student assessments.
  • Enrichment Activities: Support the development and delivery of extracurricular activities, such as clubs, workshops, and field trips.
About You

We are looking for a Graduate with a strong interest in education and a desire to inspire young people. You should have excellent organisational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to engage and motivate students. Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
